Headaches signals that there is a malfunction at some location in the body or in the nervous system.

Many persons suffer from constant headaches throughout their lives. Headaches that happen regularly over an extended period of time are referred to as chronic headaches and can often be characterized by a pulsating pain in the skull that can either hurt one or both sides of the brain. Headaches are often related tension build up in the body. Sleep is vital in rejuvenating the body and is one of the body’s greatest healing process. A good night’s rest can make the difference between a long day of constant headaches or a whole day of optimal performance. Whenever the body does not get enough rest it automatically minimizes your daily performance and builds up a lot of stress which causes you to have constant headaches. Exercising often can also help persons to relax more and also helps you to rest easier. Exercise boost the blood and oxygen circulation, takes care of the muscles which equals to less tension in the body, which lessens the chances of you feeling a headache.

A persons daily diet can be connected to having constant headaches. A diet with little fibers, fruits, vegetables and vitamins and lots of fluid is leading up to constant headaches. Persons should ensure that their diet is filled with all the vitamins and minerals needed to make the body work at its best. There are also certain products that increase your chances of getting headaches, especially if you are sensitive to certain foods. Dairy foods like chocolate, cheese are famous for triggering migraine headaches and flavor enhancers like MSG.

Consuming too much caffeine can also trigger chronic headaches. Caffeine is usually used to enhance awareness and provide energy for a long day, but too much of this can lead to overwhelming anxiety and constant headaches. Substances found in your surroundings can cause headaches such as the fumes which exhaust from a vehicle. Migraine headaches may also be caused by depression, high blood pressure, eye problems, and allergies and can cause vomiting. There is also what is considered as cluster headaches caused from shock to the head, like those from an accident, brain tumors, seizures, strokes and inflamed arteries and other sicknesses.

The best way to treat chronic headaches is to avoid habits that will lead it to happen. Pain killers can help to reduce pain but excessive use can still cause more severe pain. For extreme cases of constant headaches, such as those that continue forever there are holistic remedies on the market for it, and in some rare cases even surgery is used.
