“Stone Cold” Steve Austin Movies

without comments

I’ve always enjoyed watching “Stone Cold” Steve Austin in the ring, and so I naturally followed him when he made the transition to the big screen. If you’re unfamiliar with his cinematic efforts, be sure to take a look at this list of Steve Austin movies. Many of these can be found at your local retail stores, and I suggest using Walmart coupons in order to save some money.

The Longest Yard (2005) – Austin has a supporting role as a brutal prison guard in this rambunctious comedy about a former NFL quarterback (Adam Sandler) who’s forced to organize a team of convicts to play football.

The Condemned (2007) – Stone Cold plays an innocent man awaiting execution in a South American prison. Then he finds himself dropped onto an isolated island and forced to battle other inmates from around the globe for the entertainment of an Internet audience. Co-starring UK tough guy Vinnie Jones.

Damage (2009) – After being released from prison, a con (Austin) tries to make things right with the widow of the man he accidentally killed by participating in underground fights.

The Stranger (2010) – An amnesiac (Austin) tries to remember his past while being pursued by the FBI and the Russian mob.

The Expendables (2010) – A group of mercenaries (including Jason Statham and Jet Li) attempt to liberate a South American country. Austin plays one of the bad guys who stands in their way, and there’s a climactic showdown between he and Sylvester Stallone. A real treat for fans of action movies from the ‘80s and ‘90s.

“Stone Cold” likes to drink beer, but I prefer a refreshing Coke whenever I watch movies. So the next time you’re about to enjoy a Steve Austin movie, redeem some Coca Cola coupons and enjoy the savings.
